Bill Russell, may have just turned 80 last week, but the former Celtic Center is still sharp as a tack, and when he felt like he and his amazing accomplishments were being disrespected he made this statement:

“Hey, thank you for leaving me off your Mount Rushmore. I’m glad you did. Basketball is a team game, it’s not for individual honors. I won back-to-back state championships in high school, back-to-back NCAA championships in college. I won an NBA championship my first year in the league, an NBA championship in my last year, and nine in between. That, Mr. James, is etched in stone.”

In that short paragraph, Russell who won 11 championships in 13 year with the Celtics really summed up how disrespectful James is. Not only is James a traitor, but as we all know he’s a chump. He may have a few rings now, but that does not make him the best ever. It makes him notable, and how his career goes from here on out will write that legacy, but until then James should bow down to, Russell who was one of the greatest players of all time and attempt to make a humble apology, if that is possible for him to even think up. As the adage says the balls in your court, Lebron. Now you need to choose what you do with it.
